Opinions on Videoseven 17" TFT display

    I can get this "17 TFT at a very good price. A friend of mine imports them and has only this model in stock. Videoseven L17PS SPECS

    In Malta we cant compare hardware prices with US or UK ! Here pc parts are really expensive compared to other countries. And yes it sucks ! :(

    I know that if I lived in US I would get more specs for the same money but i cant do nothing about it !

    That costs about USD $380.

    if you want a TFT just to surf the web, office work etc its fine, however if you want to game don't get it!

    personally I wouldn’t buy it from what I've read in the past the build quality is poor.

    I'm with Sniper on this one. If you have the space, a 17" flat-screen monitor would be much nicer. The thing about LCD monitors is that they're optimized for 1 resolution, and in that monitor's case that's 1280x1024. For the desktop, that's nice, but for gaming, you might not be as happy with it if your system can't put up a decent framerate at that resolution.

    Im very tight in space. Im not into gaming that much although sometimes I play driving games like NFS2 or GT . What should I like for when buying a TFT monitor ?
