Opion on my vid card

well a friend of mine shipped me avid card in the mail and it got lost so no vid card for me and now he said this is what he is going to do, he is going to buy this card 9500
and put this on it
Vantec Iceburg
he said he will do this "ill buy a 9500pro - iceberq 4 cooler ( quality coooling ) ramsinks - and add the 9700pro bios"

So what do you think? will it be better then my geforce 4 mx 440 lol and by how much . thx
 
While it's a little risky adding a new BIOS it will blow the Geforce 4MX out of the water any day. He can also use RivaTuner to unlock the extra pipelines too, it's a good program and has worked in my experience. There is simply no comparison between the two cards, the cooler will be pretty nice too.
 
Sweet. yeah the cooler looks pretty sweet and its not even loud. right now i dont know what is happening with my G4orce my HL games are freezing all the time now and they never did it before and i play them everyday(nothing else to do) and then all of a sudden one day they start freezing. i touch my vid card(it has no fan just a square black plactic piece) is super hot. but i think vid cards can do that so i took my side of and have a house fan on it now
