I have a PC sound system that I normally use for games and mp3 playback, etc. But every once in a while I want to output from the PC to my home receiver since it's got mondo speakers and a better subwoofer. I can do this by unplugging the cable that goes to my PC speakers and plugging in the line to the receiver, but I'd like to be able to switch between them without having to unplug anything. What's the best way to do this? Thanks..
Here's what you might do: 1st buy a 6 (5.1) channel sound card. Plug your "mondo speakers" into the primary input (GREEN) then plug your system cable into the output channel, usually BLACK, it depends.. Now power on your amplifier to output sound on your system, switch off your amplifier and turn on your PC speakers for your games!!!
