PC configuration

Hello!

Since i'm not replacing my pc every year i would love to get as best price/performance as possible. Maybe u have some advices what i could change in this configuration not getting it more expensive.

Most of that looks alright to me. A couple points I want to mention though:

  • I think your RAM selection is a bit excessive. I'd get some value RAM that's much cheaper. I've learned that the difference between the "high performance" RAM and value is pretty minimal in terms of real performance.
  • I'm not very familiar with ATI any longer; So with that in mind, if you're doing any gaming, I'd suggest a Nvidia 8600gt.
The rest looks fine to me, although it'd be helpful if you provided links and/or prices for reference.
 
the 8600Gt are not that great really, the HD3850 is better imo I would go for an 8800GT or 9600GT if you can and use single card, or even a HD3870.

also maybe a PSU with a little more power, 600w area a corsair, PC power and cooling, Antec. I say that because you are looking to run some pretty nice stuff and it needs power.

check out G.Skill Ram maybe DDR2 1000 or DDR2 800 2GB x 2sticks.

I don't knwo much about that Mboard but I knwo asus makes nice boards, so does gigabyte.
