    Hi,
    Having a problem with a new PC from Mesh.
    On starting up it has crashed - bright blue screen and message re Windows has prevented opening to protect PC.
    Technical information:
    *** STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0xEB029636, 0xB988BAF8, 0x00000000

    *** Lvckap.sys ADDRESS EB029636 base at EB01A000, datestamp 43950596

    This has happened once before. Mesh told me to take it to a local place (despite our 3 year classic warranty) and get it checked. They could't find anything. So Mesh said to uninstall and reinstall Windows.
    Did that, and two weeks later, the same thing has happened.
    It runs Win Media Centre
    Installed hardware are wireless keyboard and mouse, a webcam, a Belkin net adapter, an M-Audio Midi-Man Sport, monitor speakers
    Installed software is Windows, Drivers for the above hardware, including three sent by email from Mesh, Cubase SX3 and some voicebanks, AVG. We didn't reinstall anything else.
    We would be very grateful for some help on this - it was my son's 18th birthday present and has not worked properly yet for longer than a week since we bough it in April!
    regards
    Anji

    After a quick search with Google I found out that is Lvckap.sys a part of Logitech Webcam software, is that webcam a logitech webcam?

    This solution founf in the Logitech forums might help then;

    Let me know if that helps,

    Good luck,

    Marcel
