pc problem nothen on monitor and no beep

    hi
    a couple of days ago i switched my computer on but nothen would come on the monitor. i have tried other monitors and still no luck. When i normaly switch it on it will do all the usuall stuff then it will beep and vista will get loaded, but now there is nothen on the monitor and to beep. could someone please give me advice on how to fix this problem.

    i have a mesh computer with a 4600 x2 processor a 7800gtx graphics car 300gb hard drive 2 gb ram and a creative sound card.

    I've had this problem before and it turned out it was because of my Power Supply; it got smoked.
    Do you hear any beeps?

    Could possibly be your GFX, see if it's seated in the socket nice and tight. Take it out, clean the pins with some alcohol and put it back in. Maybe it will work maybe not. It could also be your PSU as scorps said.

    there are no beeps at all. the power and the hdd light come on then after about 10 secs the hdd light goes off.

    i have now tryed my gfx card in my wee brothers computer and it works fine.

    how would i find out if it is my power supply??

    Try switching the Power Supply.

    i would but i dont have another one:p is there anyother signs that would show its the power supply thats broken??
