I have tried to format my hard drive using my providers recovery disk. On reboot the PC will not go past the PCI device listing screen.

I just want the hard drive cleared and windows reloaded.

    help me!

I have managed to get my recovery disk to now boot by playing with the BIOS. I now have another problem.

The recovery disk is giving me 4 options and one is to clear hard disk and re-install. I choose this option and it starts to delete the files, but after 10 mins it comes with a warning message 'carrera 3'. You OK this and it takes you back to the 1st screen. Problem is now that system has deleted files, but will not load XP.

PC is made by carrera who I now believe have gone bust.

Any other way I can reload XP ( I only have this recovery disk that was supplied to me by Carrera).

    I appreciate your help
