Please help. New pc build is running slower than it should be.

    I have the following;
    120gb SSD
    2tb sata 6bb/s
    NVIDIA GTX 680 with corsair water cooling
    i7 3930k
    16gb 1600mhz ddr 3 crucial ballistix
    Games that should run well are not jerking and sometimes the games minimize to the desktop and I cant reopen them. I have not overclocked it and nor should I for the games I am trying to run such as BF3. My brother has a considerably slower pc than this build yet he runs it perfect in full settings.
    what am i doing wrong?

    Can you give us the specks of your Brothers PC ?

    Thanks for your reply but my graphics card spat its dummy out last night and snuffed it so it has gone back to Mesh for repair. I guess that's what the problem was because it wasnt overclocked or anything and the psu is more than sufficient for it. Anyway thanks again for the reply =)
