Is there a correct way to disconnect this type of laptop cable? Is there a lock or something, because I cant get them to budge.
When I pull, they just break.

In the picture, it is the top left and upper center arrows. I am not concerned about the bottom center arrow.

If this is the wrong forum, I apologize.

I think that the only way to pull these out is to take a screwdriver and pull of the plastic part of the connector. If you pull the wires as such, you'll only damage them. There should be a small plastic fixing system, which holds the cable firmly in place. You can somehow move the fixing system and that should make it easier to pull the cable out. Also, I've found that all computer wire connections are usually quite tight and need some considerable force to get them apart. That's normal.

Be careful cause they can get stuck ometimes and it could make putting them back difficult.
