I have an assembled pc with P|||, 1.2 GHz , 128 MB RAM and 810 chipset based gigabite mother board. Recently I faced a problem with my pc. Some times it starts fine and some times it does not starts.

Some times while starting it only glowing the power led and after some time the hdd led glows and boot successfully. I consult a local computer repairing center. He checked it and told there is problem with your BIOS. So he flashed the bios. After flashing it works fine 2-3 times and then again failed to boot. Again after another flashing it is warking but still I hav doubt because the late booting is not solved and also some times it is refuse to boot(nothing happens after pressing power button.). what is the problem with my system plz help me.

Try using dskchk from a command prompt or MS-DOS boot disk to check for physical errors of your HDD!

This thread needs to be moved to the correct section.
Also check your RAM, use something like Memtest86 to check for errors on your RAM.
