Problem with a new Power supply

Hello:

After look around in the internet for several hours I started thinking this problem happens to me only!
I have a motherboard PCchips M957G. I bought a new power suppy (the old one was producing too much noise!). But the new one has a connector with the sideclip too big and it is not fit in the female connector because it collide with the 4-wire connector (the one with two black wire and two yellow wire)

I was thinking if it is possible to remove the sideclip but I´m not sure I going to fry my mobo

Any help?

20 pines. But the problem is not the 20 or 24 pines, the problem is that the 20 pines connector sideclip collide with the power connector (the 4 wires connector) I know is very weird but seems this only happens with the PCChips M957g motherboard. I have the suspicion that that is intended to avoid the use of new power supplies in this motherboard, but I´m not sure.

Just in case somebody need this info, this is the answer of the manufacturing companie:

"PCCHIPS Support (USA) Posted : GMT 2008/05/20 22:14:14
You should have no issues removing part of this clip. It is NOT recommended that you [remove] the whole thing if possible, so it can stil be clipped in place."

Also a technician told me that he have to do that (remove part of the sideclip) all the time (sic).
