I have recentely subscribed to bt broadband and this became active today, however i have my own router and so they sent me no drivers or cd and said i don't need them. Trouble is in the address bar of internet explorer my user guide says to the the address http//10.0.0.2, however then the modem cuts in and trys to connect me to the standard dial up connection, but when i type the address in the address bar it doesn not come up (this is with dial up connected). So i thought, ok - maybe try working ofline but then it says webpage unavailable, so what do i do. I have seen the home page in question (as this router has been used by someone before), and it has all settings on one side and the title is CONEXANT. How do i get to this page if i cannot do it via dial up (this trys to connect automatically) or offline?! Cheers! here is the router http://www.clickonit.com/product.php?product=114870&c_f=froogle
Hi m8 disable ur old dial up connection and make sure ur connected to the router by an ethernet wire rather then wireless at first if possible then make sure you ethernet driver are installed on your pc open a internet explorer type the ip in and away you go, hope this helps Dave
Cheers bud! Thanks for the advice now happily surfing the net at awesome speeds (well i think they are) and playing UT 2004 online!
