I'm eyeing a 500GB SATA Seagate on eBay, but it dawned on me my PSU didn't have the appropriate plugs for a SATA unit. I did another quick search and came up with this, but because it keeps saying SATA2 all over the page, I'm kindof confused if my new SATA drive is going to work with it. Please advise. (Also, what is the difference between SATA and SATA2?)

Frankly, I don't even completely understand what that thing does, and the pictures don't help much. Out of curiosity, is there anything out there which you can just connect to a regular IDE power cable and connect to a SATA unit? Something like an IDE>SATA power converter or something.
If all fails I'll just have to get another power supply or forget the hard drive.
Thanks to all in advance. :)
EDIT---
Found this webpage and it confuses me even more. I was thinking it was a small gadget which sits on top of the standard 4-pin power connector, but now there's this UV cable behind it which supposedly leads to I-don't-know-where. Somebody enlighten me please.
