Hi
First specs
P5W DH DLX, E6600, 2x512 A-Data DDR2 800 (Not Viesta), X1900XT
Been using this PC for 2 months now, everything OK, slight OC for everyday use (3.2GHz, VCore auto, Vdimm 2.1 DDR 710 4-4-4-4, everything else default, orthos stable, memtest stable)
Ok, yesterday I dl new BIOS, set OC settings again everything OK.
Today I just started that damned thing and got long-short-short-short (which probably means memory test error over 64KB). CMOS reset didn't helped. Removed one dimm swaped them randomly and voala PC get throught POST. Ok, been working for a while then turn it of. When I turned it on hour later same thing, so I was swapping dimms and I found myself booted with both of them, having CD of memtest in drive I run it. No problems for hour or so. Turned that #(&%*(& off and on again. No POST. :starting to get insane: swapping dimms. Now Im in windows running Orthos large blocks (so far 20mins no problem) and I'm afraid to turn it off. I also noticed it's more inclined to boot when it's lying on side. ( I know this is getting crazy )
Any idea what's wrong ? I thought my BIG fan somehow managed to physically damage mobo (it's heavy and when it's standing it may bend it little, however I have not been moving it lately)
Any idea appreciated
Forget to say I have reloaded previous bios.
