    Hi,
I recently bought a new computer which set me back a bit. It is still covered by warranty so if I can't fix it im still safe. My computer will randomly restart after about 1hr - 2hrs. I Have checked my error logs and I get 2 errors that are consistant. I have googled for help but I can't find the exact errors anywhere. I don't think its overheating either because... My case has 8 fans:). Please help.
    Errors are as follow.
    Error 1

    Source: System Error
    Catergory: (102)
    Type: Error Event ID: 1003

    Description:
    Error code 000000fe, parameter1 00000005, parameter2 865e70e0, parameter3 10de036c, parameter4 852b38d0.

    Error 2

    Source: System Error
    Catergory: (102)
    Type: Error Event ID: 1003

    Description:
    Error code 10000050, parameter1 ae078c20, parameter2 00000001, parameter3 806e9b9a, parameter4 00000000.

If you need any more information just ask, I can attach screen shots if you need.

    Please Help,
    David.

It could be a number of things.
Bad memory, maybe another faulty component like PSU. Having eight fans does not mean that crucial components don't overheat. Unlikely, but not impossible.

If your system is under warranty, do not open it!
This will automatically void the warranty and you are :swear:
Personally I would try and run some diagnostics like 'memtest' and see what they find, if anything. However, memtest need to run for a number of hours. It might find something straight away though.... try and print test results so you can have it to hand when dealing with CS. Doesn't pull the babes but will impress the geeks....;)

If you are still not getting anywhere, talk to CS before doing anything which might void that precious warranty.

    Good luck

The Event ID 1003 is unrelated to system reboots. See here

Download SpeedFan and check your temps. What are the readings? The amount of fans you have is unimportant if they are all blowing at each other. Cool air won't circulate around your computer that way. You should concentrate on better airflow through the computer. You can do this by situating a few fans at the front of the computer blowing air towards the back of the case. Put a fan at the back of the case blowing air outside of the case. Try to keep the airflow in one direction.

It might help if you tell us what PSU you have?
