im thinking about getting the San Diego 3700+ core http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103539

and im using a DFI nForce 4 SLI-DR mobo. With the update that DFI has on their website to support the E3 Venice core, after i install that bios, will it also recognize the san diego core, cause i believe its still an E3 core no? cause im sure u will be allowed to boot windows allowing you to install the bios via floppy Diamond Flash Image iso. am i right about this? thx

    sorry about the late reply.

I don't see why it won't detect the san diego core after you update the BIOS.

Nice choice m8, I'm sure Sniper's right. I would totally go with the 3700 diego, I read that if you oc it 400MHz (to 2.6GHz)than it should be able to surpass even the FX 55 for way less than half the price! If I could afford it I'd buy one.

There are a few people running SanDiego's with the DFI NF4's. I haven't looked myself, but you could check up over @ DFI Street and see which BIOS will work with them. I know RGone, one of the mods, has run a Venice with the 1/25 BIOS. If not, I'm sure AngryGames could tell you.
