here's the prob; i finally got got my ide connected as my boot drive and my sata as a 2ndary and recently installed the raid drivers for my k8v deluxe. on my xp machine my 2nd hdd was detected and working flawlessly but i had recently switched over to server 2k3 and the sata is detected, working properly, etc... but i can only see my main drive with no signs at all of my 2nd one outside of the device manager. any ideas?

Sounds like the drive isn't formatted yet. This is pretty easy to fix.
Right click on 'My Computer'-->Manage. The box that pops up has a list of stuff, but what you're intrested in Disk Management. You can see all drives hooked up to your machine from here, weather they're formatted or not. You can also format and assign drive letters here.
