after reinstalling my sound card i have had problems with no sound at all and in device manager the card is shown to be installed and working correctly but when i try to run creative sound blaster diagnosis it tells me no hardware is detected, i have tried different pci slots with the card but still to no avail, any help on this would be appreciated, thanks in advance ( os = xp on dell optiplex gxa, pentium2 233mh)
Try removing your card from device manager then remove the software and drivers as well. After the necessary series of reboots, reinstall the drivers.
