Hello! I'm considering a notebook with the screen resolution 1680x1050 but I don't know whether I'll like that resolution or not. Currently I have 1280x800. Would I be able to use the 1280x800 resoltion on the 1680x1050 display with the same results as 1280x800 resolution on a 1280x800 display? Regards Oskar
Welcome to HWF If the screen supports a resolution of 1680x1050, then this is the best resolution to use. Using a lower resolution makes the image less sharp and it gets stretched from letterbox to widescreen. But 1680x1050 is widescreen, and after you've used it for a while you don't wanna go back to a regular letterbox screen.
