Hi,
Went and got myself a new video card: HD3870
One of its great features is that it came with a DVI to HDMI dongle adapter. Have this attached to my Toshiba 42" LCD TV via HDMI cable, the TV being the secondary display. Now, the TV sadly is only 1080i, not HDTV. But it's max resolution is supposed to be 1360 x 768. Alas, the highest resolution I can get working for this secondary display is 720 x 480. Catalyst control centre detects everything just fine but TV blue screens when any resolution above 720 x 480 is tried.
All video drivers are up to date and running Vista 64 Ultimate. Could this be a settings problem in Catalyst control centre? Or does my vid card just not have the guts?
Cheers all!
