pretty sure the answer here is simple, and its what Nintendo figured out, there is a HUGE difference in the gamer vs everyone else market, games that appeal to anyone but the "hardcore" gamer appeal to a MUCH larger audience and market.
I really can't understand what the fun in a game like Bejeweled is... it just doesn't make sense. I just tried it for 5 minutes right now, and it seems so pointless and repetitive. There's no thought involved. Just click on any jewels you can swap, and you can't even plan out cascades. Tetris is much more interesting...
i dunno man, we play game, everyone else thinks they are ether weird or hard, so who knows, maybe gaming is something only some people have in them or something.
