Anyone looking foward to SS2, I personally think it looks pretty sweet, should be like a more cheery version of Painkiller (which was the shiz btw). The new engine is very impressive, to dish out that level of detail and manage to throw insane amounts of baddies on the screen at once w/o slowdown get my two thumbs up. Course the old man doesn't appreciate the fine art of these "Turbo slasher 5000" games as he calls them. :x:
I was impressed with the original Serious Sam (1st and 2nd Enconters) and the first Serious Engine, so I'm definitely waiting for SS2. SS was out several years before PK...you should be able to find them for $10 or less each.
I really should find where I put 1st and 2nd Encounters, I've missed playing those a lot, graphics may have not been at PK's level but it was a frag-fest!
