Software Keeps crashing

hello i hope someone can help me!!

i installed a software from a CD and it keeps crashing on me, i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how i can prevent this from happening.

sorry for the delayed reply ws on holiday, its every software i download the problem occurs, i let the omputer rest for a couple of weeks but its still acting up.
 
Could you be any less specific? :D We aren't miracle workers you know!

Which programs keep crashing?
What are you doing when they crash?
