Does anyone know of any software that when my microphone is in use (only in Windows Live Messenger) it unmutes it, and mutes it when I close WLM? I have a feeling that it probably doesn't exist, but I suppose it's worth a try. Thanks, Thomas
You can do it everytime by yourself. There is a sound icon on the right bottom of your desktop (if not, then go to control panel > sounds, click the box for display sound icon on desktop). double click on it. There is a microphone volume bar is over there(if not, select file > properties, there you will find your microphone, just tick on it and click ok). You can set the mic volume from there and you can mute your mic as well. If I were you, I will never install any other program for this thing because every process affects the speed the computer.
None that I'm aware of, although you might be able to find some setting in the WLM program that might allow you to do this. What Karanislove suggested is the only way I know of.
