Yeah so i leave my machines on usually all the time, mostly for folding and it didn't really hit me but i probably use a shit load of power. Man, i guess if the parents are like woah next month i'll have to tone it down or something, although i do heat the basement with my machines.

Im using around 400W, and thats with dual processors, network ports and DVD-RAM drives My Dad was complaining about power usage too... so i sold my firewall (cherry) and gave my server to a mate (Roach)... its now being used for music/msn/web browsing and it dual boots so he can play diablo2 (in windoze)
