Since i got my computer the other week I've been having problems with latency. Rebooting fixes it, but after 15-30 minutes whatever i try to ping returns 1k+. Then it's back to rebooting.

At first I thought it might be the network card (the onboard Marvell Yukon 88E8053), but after trying with an old card I had lying around and getting the same problems, I ruled out that possibility. So that leaves the motherboard (an ASUS P5W DH Deluxe).

    Any suggestions?

Hey Rytkonen, the best thing you could do is test your connection with the tools provided on DSL Reports.com

Maybe after using some of the tests like Line Quality testing and Tweak tests you'll find a fix for your problem or you can rule out more possible causes.

    Greetings,

Also, are you connected directly to the internet, or with a router? If you don't have a good router, I highly recommend one.
