Ok so now my dad is on my back about getting my good PC working again. I'm sure i need a new PSU but theres always a hunch with me that it could be another part. For me, the CPU. My dad asked how much it would cost for a new PSU and i told him £20-25 for what I need. However if I find out that my CPU is bust, then its around £50 for an equivilent one. He's not gonna be too happy to hear that. So, now i'm gonna take the Duron out of this one, which my new mobo should support and stick it in. I hope i get the same problem otherwise if it works then its time to spend money again.

No. He tried another cpu and got the same problem. So it's not the cpu.

Now all i need is a new PSU. Knowing what happened with my mobo i'll get a new one and find out it was the RAM! Oh no. Now i'm getting worried again.

Don't worry unless a new PSU dosen't work. Just make sure to get a good warranty on the PSU.
