    Which of those components are better for running programs like
    MATLAB , 3DMAX ,FORTRON

    And GAMES

    CPU : Phenom II X4 955 3.2GHz, 8MB Total Cache
    MOBO:Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P = 880 LE
    RAM:Kingston DDR3 (2*2 GB ) bus 1333MHz
    VIDEO CARD:SAPPHIRE HD 4850 1 GB DDR3
    PSU: HEC 500 W

    Hello.

    -I think better is a AMD PHENOM because it is ddr3 and bus speed 1333MHz, intel core 2 quad is ddr2 and bus speed only 800mhz, so amd phenom is much superior than intel core 2 quad.:)

    No need to bump, if someone had the answer they would have posted already.
    You have to be patient or you can always try other forums. Have you consulted the developers' sites for min hardware requirements?

    Taking into consideration that English is not your first language, the tone is still not funny or cool :)cool:). If anything it is verging on rude. If you have no input, please refrain from posting garbage. Same goes for medo. Please try and keep this civilised... and to the point....
