I've heard of the Volcano coolers and they seem good. Pure copper base can't be bad.

Do you know of any copper coolers that are 80x60mm or smaller for my XP2800+ that are good, i dont want water cooling though!
    BTW, money is no issue!

Not off the top of my head but smaller ones won't cool as well as larger heatsinks of the same type.

    Hi

From the specs it looks like a little screamer.
    35dBa Is rather audiable.

With all this noise it does not seem to shift much air.... :eek:hah:

How about a heatpipe that rises slightly over the rest of the motherboard to get a bit more clearance? or is this not practical in your case?

    Good luck

Dude 35 Dba is like a whisper to me. I'm sitting beside 3 Tornadoes :). But yea I looked extensively at the Volcanoes for my other computer. Ended up buying the one in this computer but that is a long story. They seem pretty good.

    Thanks for all your comments/input!
sabashuali- im not interested in heatpipes and 99.9% of them i cant use on my board,
and im going to fitting a aluminium fan on it, i think it does about 43CFM!

That is ultra cool! Good luck

I did not realise you were changing the fan...
The original fan on the link was doing 21.19...

Hope ir works well for you!

Can I ask, just to be nosy, why cant you use the heatpipe sort?

    All the best

Because most of them are either too big for my board or need mounting holes which my board does not have!
When i bought my mobo it was just one of those "quick fixes"
