Hi, I found something- it says still image device monitor? I'm not real savy, and I haven't done any installing, therefore, I'm wondering if I also have snoopware on my pc??? Help! Thank you ButterFly1
Doesn't sound like "snoopware" to me... Actually, it sounds like scanner or camera software. But if you don't already have some anti-spyware tools, you definately have spyware on your system. No doubt about it, as Windows comes preloaded with quite a few in and of itself. And if you've been surfing the Internet with Internet Explorer, the situation is much, much worse. Here are three free anti-spyware tools I recommend: AdawareSE -- Spyware Removal Spyware Blaster -- Spyware Immunization Spybot S&D -- Spyware Removal & Immunization I advise that you install, update, and run each of these tools and allow them to remove anything they find in the process. Repeat the process weekly or so to keep the spyware off your system. Also, if you are using Internet Explorer as your web browser, I advise that you strongly consider switching to a free alternative such as Firefox or Opera (or both, they're free!). Either browser is much more secure, and they actually have some very useful features that IE doesn't.
