Trouble Installing Flight sim addons

Hi,

Ive got this addon (Hercules C-130) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 which comes on a DVD disc and i cant seem to be able to install it even though i have a DVD rom drive

When i put the disk in everything loads up normally and i click on install, it gets as far as asking what language to install in and then 'checking disk', but after that the desktop just goes back to normal and nothing more hapens.

Please could someone help me, its very frustrating and i just cant understand what is causing the problem.

i see a few possibilities

1. the file hasn't copied correctly if its a home made dvd
2. the adon is crap and not been tested
3. slight possibility, but maybe something in the background is stopping the program from functioning properly (so try installing it using minimum software in memory - msconfig job or safemode if you copy the file to your desktop)

try resolving the above individually hope it helps

the only thing i can think of is currupt file, go here to find the file RNZAF - RNZAF C130 Hercules Download Hercules C-130 Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 - Google Search

but hey, if all fails just use the standard language. if you're having a hard time figguring out wot its saying use this translator Free Translation and Professional Translation Services from SDL International

But still no luck, my friend has exactly the same addon and it worked for him and ive tried in every language. Ive given the dvd back now so ill get the one you pointed out on the net.
