Instead of being basically just a help forum have you guys ever thought of adding a hardware tutorial section...personally I think you have enough hardware talent here to write some quality tutorials on computer builds, hardware reviews, general hardware troubleshooting, etc... I've been contemplating ways where our forums could partnership in some respect...hardwareforums was the first community I joined when I first came on the net and knew less than nothing at the time since then I've built a network of websites, blogs, forums...and we ( the members ) have been very successful at promoting them...( although many are just newly created and are still in planning stages )... so...I was thinking...seeing as our main forums are basically security and networking...and hardwareforums is basically hardware...we could do a tutorial swap... where you guys could post tutorials here in a committed tutorial section and we would post half the tut ( not the entire tut ) over with a link back to the rest of the tutorial here...and you could do the same with our ever growing collection of security and networking tutorials. Just something for you guys to think about... like I said...the talent is here...just a matter of utilizing it for more than answering questions. Right now both TheTAZZone.com and Hardwareforums are a page rank 4 and we are close on Alexa as well...TheTAZZone.com: 243,812...Hardwareforums: 380,851 a tutorial swap could potentially greatly increase both our rankings.
good idea, although personally i think i'd be better reviewing tutorials[ot]as i tend to babble[/ot]but i would be happy to go through tutorials and specify how good they are
Unfortunately, tutorial reviews need tutorials to review. I've been hanging around for more than two years now and I know there's some guys here who could easily write up a few quality tutorials...tutorials are a great way to promote your site, we have one tutorial alone that's had over 200,000 views...in fact most people who come to our site come to read the tuts... I personally believe that a limited tutorial exchange would greatly enhance both our sites...I know our site is constantly growing and evolving and we are experiencing the best month we ever had and fully expect it to continue... if we were to co-operate on this...I think the benefits would speak for themselves. There is no question in my mind that there's enormous talent and potential here...even if you didn't want to co-operate I would still advise you to strongly consider starting a hardware tutorial section and encouraging members to write some quality tutorials. IMO
for sure there is a helava lot of knowledge here. And people here kow how to impart thier knowledge clearly.
