Hi, follwoing the advice of someone on another forum as to how to get my dvdrw to reappear on my computer i was told to delete the upper and lower filters of the dvd rw. i think however i have delete the filters in the keyboard and mouse by accident as now they are completely unresponsive when i boot up. ive tried using different mouse and keyboard and they didnt work either which leads me to believe it is software and not hardware. i thought i could reinstall windows to solve the problem but i cant move the mouse to tell the disc what to do.

anyone have any ideas as to what to do?

    thanks.

press "F8" during startup and select "use the last known good configuration" it could fix the problem.
