hey, well im trying to get this old pc to run a bit smoother for a friend and i want to get all the drivers for the mobo but i cannot seem to find anything on it . The mobo sais VA6 under the first white slot. this mobo must be very old because the cpu is on an extra piece og motherboard that is perperindicular to the mobo?? any help with this would be great...thx I have no idea what the cpu is. this is what it says in system...x86 Family 8 Stepping 3 AT/AT COMPATIBLE 65,080 kb ram
First dowload [google]CPU-Z[/google] and run it. It should tell you your motherboard model and then post it here.
Update ^^^ ok thx i will i hope its not big because i all i have is dial up(31.5k) i installed a d link network card so i could get wireless on it but it tells me that a network cable is unplugged?? Oh the d link card requires at least 600 mega hurts and 128 mb of ram lol i dont think i am even close to that Darn i am not able to go into explorer..i get an eroor telling me that IEXPLORER has encountered an error and will now close
Ah sorry found the model number. The download page is here: http://www.abit-usa.com/downloads/driver/drivers.php?categories=1&model=97 however because its a discontinued motherboard, only BIOS updates can be downloaded. Nothing you can do really.
