hi there! i have a really strange problem with my HP 2710p laptop. i'm allways using it with my projector, but when i conected it this morning (projector to laptop via VGA cabel) sudenly blue-screen apeard and the laptop stuck and rebooted. since then, whenever i conect the VGA to any external device (screen, projector) the laptop recognized the device but the device don't get any signal from the computer. what cold it be? (i'm sure it's not a software problem, because i reinstalled windows after formating and also tried with other version of linux. same problem- the laptop think he is conected but all the screens and the projectors can't recognize the laptop). thanks!!!!
You might of burned out that video port on the motherboard, have you gone into the bio's and check the settings there ?
