Hi all,
I searched the forum and didn't see anything for this specific cause which is upsetting because I was hoping someone had run into it before. I have a ViewSonic VA712b flat panel LCD, and its giving me problems. Recently I moved my computer across the room where it used to be, and when I got it all set up, the monitor won't turn on. No damage was dealt during the move, so I have no idea what happened.
Edit: It worked before the move. It literally took me maybe an hour to move everything...so it wasnt an extended period of time.
I have a dual monitor set up, and that is my second monitor, Windows sees the monitor, and is displaying to it (as far as the operating system is concerned) but I see no picture. Also the light on the monitor is green, so both the comp and monitor think they are showing me image, but alas, they are not. Any ideas?
P.S. I'd take it apart, I'm by no means afraid to experiment, the problem is, I wouldn't know what needs fixing, so why take it apart?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
