you will need to partition the VMware disk, im looking for a step by step guide just now [EDIT] a PDF: http://www.offensive-security.com/documentation/backtrack-hd-install.pdf [OT] haXxor!!!!! lol [/OT]
thankies, i'll try it soon BTW: lately i've being messing with the xorg.conf to try to sort my grfx drvers, as it AT couldn't sort 3D (although he did get some nVidea drivers working, but no 3D ) anyway, i'll get on it soon i won't give in, i'll get 3D working even though i never play games more recently i've being trying to restore an unbootable Kubuntu install from my Maxtor (rebaged Seagate) drive, and trying to retrieve data (basically, good fun) BTW: i'm still a masochist, yesterday i brought Kubuntu to it's knees, by resizing 2 partitions while copying about 40Gb of .iso images & it was so slow, trying to catch up with itself, but i power off, & today it's fine BTW: sorry for moaning but i'll try it soon, thankies Edit: in the meantime I've booted a USB pen to try restoring the unbootable HDD, after a while i figured :swear: it & rebooted onto my working Kubuntu install, i'll sort it later BTW: if your still reading this your as sad as me for writing this, we may be sad but we don't care, were happy Edit: i nearly deleted this post a couple of days ago, i'm glad i didn't now:beer: Edit: the unbootable HDD, it was my fault, i killed it by uninstalling HAL, & network manager  i won't be doing that again, well, not in a hurry
