So you burnt a dead disk, now what do you do? I'm sure it's happened at least once right? Assuming it's not rewritable I usually just litterally chuck them...against rocks and watch the silicon carnage. I have a friend that uses dead/defective/and outdated disks as a make-shift sort of room separator thing where he has all the CD's suspended and you walk through them like those cheesy bead "doors" that used to be all the rage. What about the rest of you?
Me, i either Microwave them and watch the reflective layer shatter OR Chuck 'em in the bin. When i first started burning cd's and they went bad i 'Refused to believe the burn is bad and left them lying around "just in case"'. But i soon realised this was a stupid idea and set them on fire!
I used to throw them away, then i started having the novelty of being abe to touch the discs surface without any worries and started bending it. Then i snapped one in half, i had to get the dyson out and clean all the bits off my floor.
Being the :swear: tight :swear: I am, I do my utmost to make sure my burns do not go bad.... I really go out of my way to create 100% acurate results. If the unthinkable happens, I chuck them in the bin. They do not deserve any better, the :swear: !!!! How dare they go bad on me?
I usually chuck 'em around the room and start bending 'em just cause i can really. I like watching 'em bounce off the wall, then i just chuck 'em in the bin.
This is what I do with bad burns. Well not all bad burns but cd after cd after cd had failed at this point so i figured id do some burning of my own.
lol yeah. I was debating on wether to try and sell it on ebay. I mean somebody paid £57 for Mr.Crappy
