whats the difference between these two

They both use similar technology but its implemented in a slightly different way. Basically TFT's use transistors to control sub pixels (active matrix) whilst LCD's use passive matrix technology which instead of using transistors use two wires (horizontal and vertical) which intersect below each sub pixel. Both options control the amount of current that flows to a liquid crystal and therefor control whether that crystal is "on" and how bright it will be.

TFT stands for Thin Film Transistor so the clue is in the name :)

Unless technologies have improved since I last read about the subject TFT rules.
TFT gives better definition and colour control as well as a quicker picture display.

Thats not very helpful now is it??? why did you need to put that in lol

I figured since the original question is already answered... and ALSO... since were on the topic... why not ask?
Or should i make a whole new thread for my question?

c'mon, seriously

Well if you read what Tech 1079 said it would have answered it for you they are very similar so no real difference, we wouldn't notice. But sorry if i upset you.
