    Buying 2x2GB of 800Mhz CL5 memory.

Which of the selected brands are the most reliable?

I will not OC the comp, so all that matters is stability.

Thread moved, since it was in the wrong category.

To answer your question, I've had good luck with Geil in the past. I haven't worked with Patriot since the 100Mhz SDRAM days, but at that time it was stable. As for Adata, haven't even heard of them before.

That all said, if you're getting 4gb of RAM for a Windows box, note that many versions of Windows don't support more than 3.2GB of RAM at any one time.

    Best regards,

I would go with Geil or Patriot. ATM Patriot is mostly known for their DDR3 models, while Geil is just a brand that the most people have heard of out of the three.
