Hi all, yup, i need help!

My FX5200 shite itself 2 weeks ago so i went ahead and bought a ATi 9250 as a quick fix!
Now even though i am happy with my Radeon so far it's just not enough!
I was initially considering a 6600GT AGP version which retails in Australia for about $280 but then i saw a Alastor FX5900XT 128MB . Now i know the 5900
was 'nt the greatest card nor the fastest but for $129 it's a steal!
I really don't need a insanely high powered card ATM so i was wondering if the FX5900XT will do the job?
    I play Doom 3-currently getting 30FPS on 800x600/Medium
    HL2-50-65 on 1024x768/High
Bloodrayne, Max Payne1/2, Dawn of War, Dungeon Seige, Richard Burns Rally, Halo, Vietcong etc...
I don't play any of my games with AA or AF on either nor have the interest to!
Also will my 400W Antec 22AMp hold up?
    So whatdya all think?
    Thanks in advance :)

Considering the price, yeah, that's probably not a bad move. I'm not sure if they have any GeForce 6600 (non-GT) in AGP format or not, but that could be a good alternative if the is right. Additionally, while it's a little slower than the 6600GT, the Radeon X700/X700 Pro is apparently around in AGP format as well and could be within your price range.

But, yeah, for what you want the 5900XT ought to do the job fairly well.

    Well that's what i thought!
My local computer shop can stock the 6600 AGP for $265AUD or online it's $209 and i can get a
    GeCube X700 for $189 also!
I'm not really looking for anything over $230 AUD ATM so i can really save up for that dream card down the track.
I'm pretty sure i'm going to get the FX becuase as i said it's a steal!
Furthermore is Alastor and GeCube well known/trusted brands?
    Ideas Appreciated
