hi, u haven't listed the psu watt and amp. or graph card type. You don't get any display!!! Not even the blue screen of death. Not being over familiar with the budget end socket a mobos ive had a look around and found a number of issues with psu and graph cards.

can u provide the exact system spec!!

    Thanks

    Kev

Hi, Sorry for the late reply. the Psu is EXcool ATX-400 JSP 400WAC input 230V 5A, 50 HZ, Graphics card is Geforce XFX 5200 128DDR (AGP). When i switch the power on it doesnt send a signal to the monitor. It only turns on the monitor once in a hundred and displays Bios Rom Error. Ive got 1 brand new Infinion PC 2700/ 333MHz 1GB DDR. and a Amd Duron 1200MHZ.

Does the mobo appear to be working. do you get any beeps when u turn the power on???

Hmm i don't know an awful lot about the bios. i know how to configure it and thats about it.

Its not a bios checksum error is it. does it just say 'bios rom error'??

could b a faulty component on the mobo.

No beeps. only get beeps when i take the memory out. The memory is brand new. Can bios rom error be cuz of the CPU, im using a 1200Mhz duron. ?

reseat everything - to be sure of a good connection (CPU, RAM grfx card all cable connectors, if still nothing (no POST beep & no display (with only essentials connected))
    try a BIOS reset
