    Hi all:

Just wondering if someone could help with the following: I have installed Windows Server 2000 on a 160GB SATA HD, however Windows is only recognising it as a 80GB!! Therefore I was just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction? Is this a incompatibility issue (Win 2000 & SATA)? I also intend to install Win Server 2000 on a 250GB IDE, therefore will I encounter the same issues?

    Many thanks

    Oliver ;)

I believe you're running into the 137GB barrier. If you upgrade to Service Pack 4 (or slipstream a Win2k install CD), it should recognize the total size. The SATA interface has nothing to do with it.
