I am running winxp sp2 on my computer. When I am running winxp for no reason it will lock up and then go into safemode. This has happen twice this month. Can somebody help me with this problem if you can. Thank You
We may need a little more info efx. If possible, please post what you are doing (if anything in particular) when it locks up. Also, what hardware you have (i.e. motherboard, RAM, Powersupply brand and wattage). Pretty much just tell us whatever you know about your computer's hardware and what you've tried so far, if anything. Thanks!
Yea all my problems with random restarts and extreme unstabillity with errors while installing software was down to one stick of bad RAM. First make sure that theres no malicious software installed with AV and spyware scans. If to no avail try using [google]Memtest86[/google] to check for memory errors.
