ok anybody have any ideas on how to resolve the issue of HD failure on these ZEON duals processors with win2k3. works on some DUAL ZEON machines and doesnt work on others.......... of course I didnt get this issue from teh begging im comin into this trying to fix someone else screw up.... please help thanks
What has exactly happened? What make is the HDD? What are the other specs? These details will save a lot of time and effort trying to find out basic details...
It's Xeon, not Zeon, btw. And yes, without knowing more about what happened, there's really not much we can do to help. If the hard drive has failed, you'll probably need to look at a data recovery service to collect the data for you. Hard drive failure has nothing to do with the CPU used. If the BIOS settings aren't configured correctly, then the system may not correctly detect it, and sometimes that can result in a failure message when trying to boot.
