I've downloaded Virtual PC (thanks to mega for letting us know it's free), and installed Windows 3.11 for Workgroups. It all works fine, and I've managed to get the Video drivers installed. I'm now trying to setup the network (and eventually the internet) by following this guide, but I've got to step 17, and it wants a 'DNS Search Order' I've got a Belkin wireless router, but the computer I'm using is wired to the router. Does anyone have any idea what I'm meant to be putting here? I've attached a pic, but the virtual machine is greyed out because I had to pause it to get a print screen.

    Thanks, Thomas.

Thanks for that link - I couldn't get any drivers to work with 3.1!

To answer your question, put the IP address of your gateway (or router) in the DNS Search Order box

[ot] What skin have you used in XP there? And how can I get hold of it? :) [/ot]

That skin is the skin from Windows MCE, but I downloaded it off the net. I downloaded it from here.

Thanks for your help, worked a treat and now I can ping my router and get a reply.

Let me know how you get on. And if you can play any DOS games in 3.1 :)

The best way to play DOS games in NT (including Windows XP) is with VDMSound.
