TG Daily - Windows Vista successor scheduled for a H2 2009 release? Apparently Microsoft wants to get Windows 7 out before 2010, and is looking at a 2009 roadmap release date.
I dunno, from all the talk Microsoft is really into the whole OS every two years thing, granted, a lot of it is just that talk, but there is also a base to it all, as thats what Microsoft said they wanted. Also, Windows 7 is suppose to be everything that Vista and XP were suppose to be, only its suppose to be great at launch, not five years down the road. Truthfully i'm looking forward to it, actually. They are doing some pretty cool things with 7, and can't remember where i found it, but it suppose to be very small as well, i can be very small.
I'm looking forward to this, nearly 99% of my clients are still on xp and are going to skip vista all together.
Well, hopefully Microsoft will do things to Windows 7 that they were supposed to do to Vista. I'm on XP as well, and if I can avoid Vista at all, I will.
My dad had no choice but to switch to Vista when he bought his new PC. He's had nothing but trouble with it.
why did he have no choice??? on a side note, from all that people have told me, and read, its ether great or horrid. Some people love it, no problems at all, other have nothing but. On that, yeah, windows 7 is suppose to be the cats pajamas, everything they said Vista was going to be, but like nice like XP is now, only all that and smaller, and prettier.
