I cloned my backed up hard drive into the current hard drive using hdclone. When I try to boot using the cloned hard drive.... Windows booting screen starts and after few secs, its saying in blue screen:
A problem has occured and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
    UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
    ........
    Technical Information
    STOP: 0x0000000ED

Although my source drive was 250 GB capacity and target drive was 80 GB, I dont think this is the problem because I cloned successfuly from 80 GB drive to 250 GB drive some 6 months back and I am doing the reverse thing now.

One more thing i noticed is while in bios boot sequence options, crazy thing like CD/DVD-0: SONJ* is displayed. Some other time different things like CD/DVD-0:SoNy$ is displayed. So maybe bios is infected with virus? Even if bios is infected, I am not having any problem in booting with 250 GB backed up drive. Seems strange...

Also before cloning, I did a complete format using win xp installation CD via booting thro it. Then another time I tried formatting using gparted thro boot CD. But still same problem of windows not loading :(

    So any suggestions please? Thanks.
