Hi I'm building a miniature recording studio for my Room, I want it to be as small as possible and energy efficient, I’ve decided to go with the Mini-ITX motherboards and a Mini BOSS recorder.

Instead of using a HDD I decided to use a special type of flash memory CF, its quicker I think than using a standard 2.5" HDD, and it saves room.
I’ve got it running in dual so I’ve got 8GB for system files.
The BOSS recorder doses not need any software.

Then I'm going to install a 160GB USB HDD for storage of my MP3's that I will be recording, using my guitar and making backing tracks on the BOSS recorder.

How much space will I have left if I install windows onto 8GB?

The idea is to be mobile and energy efficient.
also could anyone recomend a mini keyboard and mouse.

    suggestions welcome.

    Thank you.

Windows XP uses about 1.5 GB of disk space. So with 8 GB, you'll have 6.5 GB left.
