I just built a new computer, The only OEM disk I had was a Windows XP Home, 32Bit Disk - I installed it, and upgraded to SP2. Everything is running great, Im just wondering, Should I have used XP Pro over Home or 64Bit over 32Bit? I tried googleing this, I really didnt get any straight answer.

My new computer is primarly going to be used for Gaming (Dual 2.13 GHz Conroe (E6400) CPU, 2GB Ram, Radeon x1600xt...)

What I am tring to ask is: Would it be worth getting Pro 64bit over what I have now? And is it possible to upgrade Home to Pro and/or 32 bit to 64 bit?

no, don't touch 64bit windows with a barge pole....

perhaps in a year or so, but at the moment the hassle you will have with drivers and software not working is not worth it (i installed win x64 to find the modem didn't work. :swear: ).

By the time there is decent support, you will most likely want DX10 for your games (which M$ is only going to release for Vista).

Stick with your current version of XP!
